Cabinetry Done Right

Kitchen Cabinets, Installed Right

Cabinets are the most visible — and most expensive — element of any kitchen remodel. Get them right and everything else falls into place.

We've been installing cabinets across Palm Beach County since 2006, and we handle every step ourselves: design, ordering, delivery, and installation.

What separates a good install from a bad one isn't the cabinets themselves — it's the prep, the shimming, the level lines, and the patience. Crooked walls, uneven floors, and out-of-square corners are the norm in older South Florida homes. We install cabinets that sit plumb and level no matter what the house throws at us.

Baseline Quality

What You Get in a JR Stone Install

Every cabinet project includes the same baseline quality — we don't cut corners based on budget tier:

  • Solid wood doors and drawer fronts — no MDF, no thermofoil
  • Plywood box construction on sides, back, and bottom
  • Soft-close hinges and full-extension drawer glides standard
  • Matching ends and toe kicks finished to match doors
  • Adjustable interior shelving in wood, not wire
  • Proper shimming and anchoring so every door aligns true

Door Styles

Every Mainstream Door Style

South Florida kitchens lean clean, light, and coastal. Shaker in white, off-white, or soft gray is by far the most popular. Bolder accents — deep navy, forest green islands, warm wood tones — are trending up.

Shaker

Classic, works with every home style. Most popular in Palm Beach County.

Slab

Modern minimalist, often in matte or textured laminate.

Raised-Panel

Traditional and formal. Classic Florida Mediterranean fit.

Beaded Inset

Custom, high-end look with doors flush to the frame.

How It Works

From First Call to Finished Kitchen

Most projects run four to six weeks. Install is quick — the wait is manufacturing lead time.

Hand-templated once cabinets are set. Counters installed 8–10 days after.

RTA vs. Semi-Custom

Same Quality, Different Assembly

We install both RTA (ready-to-assemble) and semi-custom cabinets. Boxes, doors, and hardware are identical — the only difference is where assembly happens.

RTA ships flat-packed and we assemble on site during installation — saves roughly 15–25% on cost. Semi-custom arrives pre-assembled from the factory and installs slightly faster.

For most kitchens, RTA is the smarter value pick. Semi-custom makes sense if you want to shave a day off install or you're doing a very large kitchen.

Built to Last

What Makes a Cabinet Install Last

A well-installed cabinet run looks the same on day one and day twenty. Doors close flush. Drawers glide evenly. Reveals between doors are consistent. No sagging, no drooping uppers, no racking.

Longevity isn't about fancy cabinets — it's about installation discipline. We check level and plumb at every stage, shim every cabinet individually, and anchor into framing studs (not just drywall) for uppers.

Common Questions

Cabinetry FAQs

What cabinet brands do you carry? +

We work with a roster of trusted cabinet manufacturers — Fabuwood, Jarlin, ROC Cabinetry, ProCraft, US Cabinet Depot, and others depending on your project requirements. Each line has different price points and door styles so we can match your budget and aesthetic.

RTA vs. semi-custom — what's the difference? +

RTA (ready-to-assemble) cabinets ship flat-packed and we assemble them on site. They cost less. Semi-custom cabinets arrive from the factory fully built and finished. Both use solid wood construction.

How long does cabinet installation take? +

Cabinets typically arrive 2–4 weeks after design approval. Installation itself usually runs 2–4 days depending on kitchen size, so most clients are using their kitchen again within 10 days of the cabinets arriving.

Do you offer door styles beyond shaker? +

Yes. Shaker is the most popular door style in South Florida right now, but we also install slab, raised-panel, beaded, and inset options. We'll walk you through all the finishes during your consultation.

Do you deliver outside Palm Beach County? +

Our service area is primarily Palm Beach County, with occasional projects in Broward and Martin counties. Call us at (561) 834-8760 to check availability in your area.

Are the cabinet boxes solid wood or particleboard? +

Plywood boxes are our standard across every line we install — sides, back, bottom, and top. Doors and drawer fronts are always solid wood. We never install particleboard or MDF box construction even on budget kitchens.

Do all cabinets come with soft-close hinges and drawers? +

Yes — soft-close hinges and full-extension soft-close drawer glides are standard on every cabinet we install, regardless of brand or budget tier.

Can I see real samples before I commit? +

Yes. Visit our Riviera Beach showroom at 1960 W 9th St, Suite 8 to see actual cabinet door samples, finish colors, and hardware options. We also bring samples to the in-home consultation if you can't make it to the showroom.

What does a cabinet project typically cost? +

Cabinet-only kitchens start around $8,000 for small spaces and run $15,000–$30,000 for typical Palm Beach County kitchens. Pricing depends on cabinet line, door style, accessories (pull-outs, lazy susans, trim packages), and kitchen size. We provide a firm written quote after the in-home consultation.

Do you handle the demo and removal of old cabinets? +

Yes. We can handle demolition and disposal as part of the project, or coordinate with a licensed demo subcontractor if your HOA requires one. Discuss this during your consultation.
